Default Anybody Used Collinite Wax?

Pickin up my Vette in a couple of weeks at the NCM and have been reading about the Zaino, Rejex, etc.

I have an 02 white Powerstroke I bought new and tried a variety of waxes, Mcguires and others.

The Arizona sun and weekly washing found me waxing the thing about 4-5 times a year, PITA! Water failed to bead and I had to polish like heck to get water spots off it.....etc.

Anyway, a car detailer told me about Collinite and that's all he has used for years. I gave it a try in 03 and have only waxed my truck once a year since.

I have never used a wax that is so durable and holds the shine so well.

I can't really vouch for the deepness of the shine, etc. since my truck is white, really hard to tell about the shine charcteristics beings it's not metallic or a brillant color.

Anybody else heard of it or used it?

lots of serious detailers on this site:

I've heard a good deal about it. Always hear about great durability and decent/good appearance.

Collinite 845 is on my wish list of waxes to buy this Summer. I've read some great reviews, and it has scored highest on gloss, protection, and durability on many of those reviews; which is where I put my priorities on when looking for a good wax.
I haven't heard of anybody disputing what Collinite claims this product will do.

You're right. I did a pretty good reading on a lot of products being used right now that are becoming very popular. Sort of make you think you're missing out on the fun.

Used Collinite when I lived up North. Just about the only thing that would stand up to a winter in Rochester,NY.
