Default RaggTopp question

After cleaning your top with the cleaner and letting it dry, Is there any tips to keep the spray protectent off of your acr paint? Will it hurt the paint if you get overspray on it? The product works great, but I seem to make a mess when using it. Any tips will be appreciated!

Use it in a garage or area where there is little wind. If you get any on the paint, is usually comes off quickly with a little QD (Mothers Showtime). Dont use one with wax or sealant abilities as it might streak. You can also make your own with two drops of car soap, and a bottle of water. Usually works ok for spot cleaning.

Wildcat, I always use some old bathtowels as a mask.
I have the top up, but un latched ( both front and rear) I put the towels between the top and :the rear deck, the front windshield, and between the top and the side windows.
That way I don't need to worry about the overspray.

Thanks rws, I am getting ready to treat my top as well. That's a great suggestion to keep the overspray off.

yup - I just take two large bath towels, and cover the car's finish near where I'm spraying. Just move the towels around to catch the overspray as you spray different sections of the car.
