I put on a thin layer of Z2 last night. Previose layers were Z5 and Z1 being the first. After work today I noticed the sun bubbled (or whatever) the Z2. Mequiars did the same thing last summer. One of the reasons why I switched to Z was to get rid of this type of problem since people said it has a higher melting rate :(
I have been looking at wax jobs for 20 years and I have never seen anything like that, I do not think Meguiars or Zaino would do that, looks like some sort of paint contamination. Something like airplane fuel.
Well I been looking at finishes for 35 years, and am with KLO. The only thing I have seen like that is back in the 70's on repaints where the chemical paint strippers were not totaly removed from the glass before painting. It looks like your problem is in the fiberglass itself (has it been repainted?) causing the paint to blister, either that or something has got on your car, but the pattern does not appear to be a splatter.
The only time I have ever seen anything like that is when "someone" poured or spilled something on the cars finish:eek: I have seen Zaino tested on black cars in the desert where the cars finish was over 220 degrees and it looked perfect after 3 days, polish or wax is not causing that.
BTW, that white stuff wipes right off. So it does not appear to be the paint that flaked even though there could be a problem with the paint underneath the Z.
My car had a similar look when a "Tent" catipiller crawled over it during the night (dew). Not to that extent though. Also was more powdery not crystal like yours.
