Same is true for Rejex, but 2 coats is sufficient. To get them off before you use a good "wax/polish" use a commercial auto tar and bug remover. Wash your car with Dawn to remove old wax. Then use a clay bar to get your paint really clean. Now you are ready for Rejex or Zaino or whatever.

The best way I have found and the way I get bugs off the windscreen of the Harley is to wet a towel with warm water and lay it over the buggy area for a few minutes (not in the sun, of course). The bugs usually come right off with a quick wipe.
As already mentioned in the previous posts, if you have a good coat (several is all the better) of a good quality polish like Zaino or Rejex, everything comes off sooooo much easier.
I use Zaino myself.
My wash routine starts with rinsing the car down and immediately spraying some bug splatter remover on all noticable blood and guts. (I can't remember the last brand I used, but it worked really well. I will look at the bottle when I get home and post)
Let that sit a few minutes while you fill your buckets, etc., then rinse off well. Most of the carnage should rinse off, and what's left comes off easy when you soap her up.
I also use the Zaino Z7 wash and it is by far the best I've used. The combo of a good polish base and a good soap makes it all the easier to clean off the car w/o having to use alot of elbow grease and reduces the amount of scratches/swirl marks.
To remove bugs i use a hand-wand soapy car wash for the entire car, then go back and rub the buggy areas with a wet 100% cotton towel. That removes the bugs without scratching, then I finish the wand-wash normally.
I use the bug/tar removal sponge thing that you can get from pep boys. It's sorta of netted. Use pleny of soap & water with it. It works great but takes some time.
I Have Tried To Use Peanut Butter . Apply It Where The Bugs Are Wait For About Half An Hour To Let The Oil Penetrate The Dried Up Bugs Then Wipe It Off. Hope This Work For You It Worked On Mine.
How about a conveniet method/product if you're on a road trip?
Follow PappyT's advice above. Grab a hotel hand towel, wet it w/ hot water and lay it on the affected area. Give it a few minutes and it'll wipe right off. I use this trick on my motorcycles all the time - course they're a little smaller than the Vette but it'll work just the same.
