I used one for a while on my black SS. One day, it must have had a small particle in the rubber. LONG scratches ALL over my baby jr. Took my hours with a PC to get them out. Some are still there.
Use leaf blower followed by microfiber towel. Leaf blower gets most plus all the water hiding in the cracks.
I use one by turtle wax, and as long as you keep a towel to go over the blade after EACH stroke you will be fine.
I have used one on my C5 and now on my C6, was a little concerned, but the TW one seems to have a very soft rubber.
Just make sure you wipe after every pass or you may pick something up like posted above and could scratch. Wiping takes longer, but better safe than sorry.
I like the leaf blower idea though!!
I also use the TW car washer for the filter rinse, it leaves a spotless rinse. I only use it for the final rinse but two times now and it gives you time to get it dry without spots.
wow a leaf blower.what a thought.ill try that this weekend
the leaf blower is great, but you will have minor drips and spots. Consider a good waffle weave drying towel and spritz the damp finish with the QD'er of your choice to help slide or lubricate the finish. Less swirls makes the owner much happier

For the few of us that have hand problems, CTS, back and neck problems the blower is too heavy.
