Default Polish and wax for Pewter

At present Iam using NXT paste, it's okay but does not give the vette the shine I want. I have a 02 pewter metallic vert. What wax would work with a pewter mettallic. I know pinnacle is great for dark colored cars. Thanx

I should be doing a pewter FRC this w/e, unless he brings his wifes volvo by instead. Will post pics of the FRC if I do. I plan on using Jeff Werkstatts prime and Acrylic Jett. Polished with Menzerna first of course.

First of all, make sure your prep work is in line.

For metallics, you might be interested in Z2 Pro, Werkstatt, Pinnacle Signature Series, UPP, etc.

Up until about 13 months ago I owned a pewter metallic 2000 Camaro (I was in between Vettes). I had never tried Klasse AIO but had read good things about it. (I've always been a Liquid Glass man). But I tried the Klasse, topped off with P21S Concourse-look Carnauba and the results on that color were stunning.

Like ZaneO said, prep, prep, prep, whatever you plan to use.

My son has a pewter 2002 Z-28 that looks like it is dripping. He uses Zaino. He is even more **** than I am.

I might also add Clearkote Moose Wax, Pinnacle Souveran, and FK Pink Wax.

I've tried a number of products on my Pewter FRC, & S100 out does them all, IMHO. But I agree, it's all in the prep work.

S100 Shine Enhancing Cleanser, & S100 Paste Wax.

Can the Klasse be used as a wipe on wipe off? I used it once but found it difficult to apply and remove.

Klasse SG (silver bottle) is a little finicky to use. I have found using a small travel size hairspray bottle with it is perfect. One or two spritz per panel and WOWO. Still as bulletproof, but much easier to remove. Remember sealants like to be put on thin.
