I've used Menzerna IP and FP ( not FPII). I keep seeing numbers for some of their products and wasn't sure what some of them were. Is PO106FF the ceramic clear coat polish? Would it be between IP and FP II?? Will it work on the 'vette clear? What is PO85RD?? Also, what number is Power Gloss? Isn't it the most aggressive of their lineup? Thanks in advance.
Yes, the PO106FF and PO85RD are their Ceramic paint polishes which also work very well on conventional paint IMHO. I actually like them better than the IP and FPII. The 106FF is between the IP and FPII but will still finish up just as nice as the 85RD or FPII IMHO. The 85RD is on the lines of FPII in strength and will give your finish an outstanding shine. These are two of my favorite polishes. I usually will do a 50/50 wipe or wash with Z7 after using them before going to a sealant since they do seem to contain some oils, not nearly as bad as some polishes but still enough that I feel they will interfere with Zaino bonding.
Thanks guys. Along the same lines- I've read a few posts on here but more so on Autopia about mixing say 30% RMG w/ IP or FPII to help cut down on the dusting. Have any of you guys tried that and if so did you feel it was worthwhile?? I've had good luck w/ Menzerna but have to be honest have not tried Z, Optimum or PB's. Thanks again for the feedback.
That chart can be useful as a rough guide, but many polishes will use different types, sizes, etc. abrasive materials, which makes it difficult to have an accurate direct comparison.
