Today I came out to see bird droppings on my burgandy car. Washed as soon as I got home. I tried [ clay bar ] [ Mothers cleaner wax ] [ Scratch X ] stain is still on the paint. Any help out their?
you can keep trying the Scratch X, it takes a few applications and a lot of effort by hand to get results. Or trying something more aggressive and a DA polisher. Bird poo is nasty stuff.

Depending on the bird and how long it is on the paint, etc. the acid in the dropping will actually etch itself into the clear coat.
As mentioned the Scratch X is a good start. Go slow and use as many applications as it takes. Be advised that sometimes it will never go completely away but you can minimize the damage quite a bit.
scratch X is very mild but it should work. You will need to apply several times and rub with passion. If you don't own a PC you don't need to buy one just for that job. Everyone should own a PC but 1 little spot can be done by hand just keep buffing and patience will pay off
ScratchX is an amazing product, if you used properly. Unfortunatly, Meguiars' really dropped the ball with the intructions on the back of the bottle, and I have even been told by a Meg's rep that it was a mistake that was overlook in production. He is baffled as to why it hasn't been fixed yet...
Make sure you apply your favorite wax/sealent over the surface now, because ScratchX, as with any abrasive, will remove any layers of surface protection.
FWIW, I now carry a bottle of water in the back of the Z06 just to rinse off bird doo. It is so corrosive and can etch paint really fast that I dump about a quart of water on it when I see it and GENTLY blot it off. If it isn't removed immediately you are well served to use the ScratchX as advised above but I wouldn't bother without a PC buffer. It's just too much work to do it by hand.

FWIW;
My black 03 vert had been bombed more that once.
The fastest way is with foam backed 4000 grit sandpaper and lots of water. If you fail to flush away the swarf you will scratch the paint and it will be hard to buff out the scratches. Follow up buffing with any scratch or swirl remover.The polish your normal way.
You will never know it happened. Be very careful sanding, use ultra light pressure and lots of water.

Just what is the proper application technique? I am picking up some ScratchX on my way home to remove the etching from a bird bomb.
Thanks
