They are doing road construction near my home and everyday when I leave I get a fine coat of dust on my car. What is the best way to quick polish and remove dust with out re-washing? Is the best option to use Z6 and just wipe it down? Another thing I have read about is just using distilled water from a spray bottle and wiping down. My big concern is to not scratch the paint while removing. I don't really want to use a california duster. Thanks for any help anyone can give.
I'm not sure I would want to use the QD to wipe out the dust. I find myself in that situation quite often. It doesn't really bother me that much, since I always wait until the weekend to wash my vette anyway. I think it will take as much work doing the whole car with a QD as it would just washing it and drying it; of course you can hit it with your QD afterwards to touch-up trouble spots.
I guess it's one of those things where you just have to pick your venom

I use distilled water in a spray bottle to QD my Rejex'd C6, sometimes followed up with a little OTC QD.
As far as spraying and wiping goes, I use enough liquid to float the particles then use many clean MF cloths to gently lift the particles off the surface of the paint.
As said construction dirt and dust is abrasive. I use compressed air, you can get a few cans of compressed air at computer stores, that will safely blow a lot of the dust off, when it gets bad wash the car, no sense taking a chance scratching your finish.
I guess I will probably stick with washing. As most of you are, I am VERY protective of the finish on the car (well, the whole car in general). My wife thinks I am nutzo. Hahaha I don't want to risk even the smallest micro-scratch. Thanks for the help
