What is a good product,to get out swirl marks due to compounding some scratches my black vette recived.
I buffed them out pretty good just looks %95 undectable.
Only the swirl marks remain.
Anyone have info in thier brain they could share
I find any good polymer-based product that is hand applied will do the trick. Zaino and Rejex are popular here, but I have used good ol' Walmart "Nu Finish" (in orange bottle) since it originally came out many years ago (remember the commercial of the faded old blue car in a junk yard?), and it does amazing things to bring auto finishes to their best, including removing some awful swirl marks on a black car.

yup, another vote for Menzerna intensive polish and/or Menzerna Final Polish II. For some light holograms or swirls from a rotary, the final polish should be enough, even with a Porter-Cable. If we're talking about sanding haze or scratches, then you'd need a rotary for sure.
But I'm with the consensus here that you should try to actually remove 99.99 % of the marks first - make the finish look perfect -- before you coat it with any sealant or filler to cover up residual defects.
If you just want a coverup, most carnauba waxes will do this quite well. I like Meguiars #26. But now Zaino Z5Pro has some nice filling ability that the old Z5 really didn't have. So that's worth a try after you're done polishing with the abrasive Menzerna products.
