Default Trouble :-( ???

I had sprayed some spray glue in my garage and some got on the paint of my car and it's "black" as well as some on the windshield and side window. Now, I wanted to know what can I do about this - besides never doing it again! What products should I use on the Paint and Window.

Thanks,
Tony P.

wow.... I'm actually Mad for you!

try goo-gone.... it'll fix it... then you must re-apply whatever sealant you got protecting your paint.

Go to your local auto body supply house and get some body solvent, or get something like this:

http://www.meguiars.com/?detailer-solvents/Body-Solvent

I'd clay, polish and re-seal afterwards.

I would try either Prep-Sol wax and grease remover or 50/50 alchohol and water or clay myself. Then make sure you re-apply your sealant.

Default Thanks

Thanks for the responses' I fell better that I wont have to repaint the car:
What is my best option:
1- use goo gone on the paint and window
2- use clay, polish and sealant
3- scratch remover then polish and seal
4- Use body solvent then polish and seal

Thanks,
Tony P.

I always try to work least aggressive first.

I would probably try it in this order

Clay
Goo gone
Scratch remover
body Solvent

You dont think that using Goo Gone on the Paint would be an issue?

Thanks,

I've used it on both my motorcycle (removing gas tank label) and my cars. If you have concerns, try it on a painted area (say under the hood) just to test color fastness.

Thanks - I will use Goo Gone first on the paint and the window to see how that works...

Thanks again everyone.

have no fears about goo gone, turpentine, paint thinner -- none will harm your cured clearcoat. shouldn't be difficult to remove this stuff since is was sprayed recently.
