Default Clear Plastic

I have seen a few cars that take the clear plastic almost saran wrap like and put over their tail lights and tag area when driving the car to a show, so as not to get a lot of debris in the freshly detailed cracks. I was wondering if anyone knew where to purchase this material? Thanks in advance!!!!!!!!!!!

One of my friends actually uses saran wrap the way you describe. Another uses the same plastic wrap that they use to wrap pallets of material prior to shipping. It typically goes by the trade name pallet wrap and you can do a search on the net for it.

Spray-On Protection Bra creates an airtight, waterproof barrier. Make sure the surface to be protected is clean and dry before use. To start, mask off sections that are not to be coated. Apply Spray-On Bra in the shade at cool temperatures, if possible out of direct wind and in a well ventilated area. Shake the container well and often during use. Spray approximately 6-10 inches form surface being treated using overlapping layers until the entire area is covered. For maximum protection a film thickness of 1/8 inch is recommended.

Remove masking shortly after application. Spray-On Bra is dry to the touch in 15 minutes and fully cured in 90 minutes.

Removal:
Peel up an edge of the film from the surface and pull up sections as desired. After removing, dispose of properly in trash bin. Reapply when needed. P/N 20264

Just use saran wrap. I also use it to wrap my mirror's when I wash my vette so they do not leak water for days. Corvette mirror's and doors are like a freaking camel and will hold water for days.

Is this really true? I can use saran wrap to protect the front of my C5?? I'm heading to Chicago tomorrow and I want to keep her clean for the show. Will it fly off at highway speeds? Will it come off after being in the hot sun? Please respond. Luv you guys.

It should not blow off or be effected by the sun/heat. Wrap that baby up and head on out to the show.
