Default Black Magic--problems

Waxed my o3 black Z06 today with Black Magic Titanium Synthetic. Put wax on and took off by hand, no orbital. Each time I would buff with a clean microfiber and the shine would look great, 5 minutes later it would have a haze like look, buff again with clean towel 5 minutes later same look.Did this numerous times with the same result. What have I did wrong, and what can I use that won't do this???Thanks

First, I want to mention that I have never tried this particular product and my suggestions are just from general experience with other products.

Not knowing what was previously applied to the surface (ex. old wax, QD, etc) makes it harder to figure out.

It could be a number of things, the Black Magic could be reacting to a previous coat of wax, too much could have been applied, etc.

Try this. Get a spray bottle and use some distilled water and give it a good spray down and wipe with a clean, dry microfiber towel. Do this while the cars surface is still cool to the touch. See if that helps.

mrosa65 gave really good advice. I have not used the product either but you can get an over load if you apply to thick or more than one coat in 24 hours and if mrosa65 suggestion works then just wash you car and it will probably be ok. Many products will produce the same effect that you describe if you over load the surface. Good Luck!

Did you apply in direct sunlight, heat, too cold, humid?
What does the label say? Some products are sensitive to weather conditions, this is what it looks like to me.

Washed with Mequiars wash, then dried, and applied in sunlight which the bottle says is fine to do. What should I wax with next??

Have you tried misting it with water in a small area then wiping it with a clean MF towel ? Sounds almost like too much product was applied.

I tried their website www.blackmagiccarcare.com but it wasn't much help. I called their 800 tech support number but they were closed until tomorrow.
