I had my garage floor painted last week and had to put MIDNT outside under the car cover for 3 days. After removing the car cover, I noticed tiny scratches and It's really bothering me when I look at it. I need your help. How do I rid my baby of these defects? First of all, I will never put the cheap car cover on it again. I will invest in a more expensive one with a carbon fiber liner. Any help would be appreciated.
Do you own a random orbital buffer like the Porter Cable ?
If the scratches are light you can use various scratch removers like Menzerna FP or Zaino ZPC fusion.
Yes, you best bet would be to remove them via a ROB and some SSR like Mrosa65 mentioned.
If you don't have this stuff you could try a coat of Z5 Pro to see if it hides them sufficiently for you.
You never want to cover a dirty car or use a cheap cover especially outside as when the wind blows or the cover moves it will introduce fine scratches.
