It's only 5mm long maybe 1/2 mm wide in my 2007 VY coupe, bit it's right at the nose, dead center and down to the black plastic on the bumper. I know only I would notice this, but it's driving me crazy having it less than a month.
Should I get a professional to touch it up? Or just let it alone?

If it's through the clearcoat and the paint, then you might try dealership matched touch up paint.
If it's that bad, pro. touch up wouldn't be a bad idea.
can you post a pic? we could help you better with decisions that way.
this sounds quite deep, so that it's obviously though the clear coat, even though the base coat , right? then the two options you might look at would be
standard touchup paint, clear coat over the top, wet sand down to level and buff to normal gloss - not as hard as it sounds, anyone can do it.
touchup123 - a great coverup, which avoids the need for wet sanding, and you could cover the entire nose and be done with it in 1/2 hour or less. Give their web site a look.
getting a repaint is the coward's way out -- play with it yourself first, you have nothing to lose, since (if your results are horrible) you'll just get a repaint anyway.
