My Vette was manufactured just about 4 weeks ago. How long should I wait until I put on some wax to protect the finish? I understand it is advisable to let the paint fully cure before putting on the first coat of wax.

I agree, Rejex is great on a brand new car. You don't need any polishes. At the most, I would do a clay bar and then a coat of Rejex. I just put a coat on my car and I simply can't believe how slick it is.
You can wax or put a sealant on it right away. Do some reading in theis section and pick what you feel is best for you. I think you will find the majority on here like Zaino the best. Pick a product and get to work.
Use Gold Class on the Vette, just like I did on the two Trans Ams before. Prior to that, I used Meguiars Medallion. Have been very satisfied, not so much with their new Next Generation, though. As long as they keep making Gold Class, I'll keep using it. Is Rejex (or Zaino) better? Or Adams or Zymol or clear shoe polish? Who knows--and as long as I'm happy, whogas.

I've asked this question before, but never really got a clear answer.....what is the big difference in the Gold Class and NXT? They are both synthetic, and I believe they both contain some carnuba wax? I've tried both, and it seemed like the Gold Class was a little harder to remove, but other than that, I couldn't tell much difference.
By the way, I had the same question about their car washes...Gold Class vs. NXT. Both pH balanced, but the Gold Class is about 20% more money. Any clues?
They're all good. It just depends on how often you drive your car and the conditions it's exposed to on a regular basis.
I've used all of these products and can't really tell much difference in the look (I personally think the carnuba gives a little more depth and shine), but the only differences you could really tell was the longevity.
