Good window cleaner please....HELP
I am just starting to clay bar and add the rest of the good ol' Zaino treatment to the car.
I have hard water stains on my windows that I cannot seem to get rid of. I need to know what I can use to get rid of this, it's driving me crazy.
When the car gets dirty I am pissy, when the window gets dirty and spotted like it is I get hostile.
:mad
Please Help.
Ben

Routine Cleaning- best cleaner I have found yet-
http://www.properautocare.com/9116.html
Stoner's Invisible Glass.
If you have small scratches, or your windows are REALLY screwed up-
http://www.zainobros.com
Zaino Glass Polish
Your probly don't need to polish.
Stoner's will make it so you think you don't even have a window
Hope this helps,
Andy

Stoners works great on glass, if you have mineral build up you need a glass polish.

Re: Good window cleaner please....HELP (hcvone)
Have you tried distilled white vinegar on the hard water spots? The acid in the vinegar is usually very effective in breaking down the minerals left behind after the water evaporates.
I have also tried Stoner's Invisible Glass and it is rather good in performance, however, I would recommend Sprayway over the Stoner's product. In my experience, it outperforms the Stoner's.
The addition of an acrylic sealant to the glass after it is well cleaned gives an outstanding reflectiveness to the glass as well. :yesnod:

Re: Good window cleaner please....HELP (69er)
Thanks guys,
I am going to order some of the Zaino glass polish. I spent the past 2 days clay barring and waxing the paint so all that is left is the windows.
I wish I had a digital camera to take some pics. She is looking good.

Ben01C5,
I use 5% white vinegar undiluted on water spots. For regular cleaning I like Stoners.

When you are wiping your windows, instead of a rag or paper towel, use newspaper...leaves no streaks. :D
