Re: Zaino vs. Liquid Glass (DAP)
I used LQ for years in our shops, we applied it to many customers cars per their request, and I used it on my cars as well, if you read the front of the can it says "containes no abrasives" if you read what is in the product it does contain abrasives just under another name, LQ has good durablity and good shine, but I will use Zaino on my cars. I used Zaino long before I ever sold it and I will use Zaino long after I stop selling it. I do not need to use a product with any cleaners and or abrasives on my cars, that is why I use Zaino. Use whatever product works best for you.

I've used both. LQ leaves a white residue in the paint chip areas. Of course, if you have a light color car this maybe ok.

Re: Zaino vs. Liquid Glass (Pooch)
I used to used LG and I loved it now I read all the hype about Zaino on the forum and the new formula coming out and I am eager to try it if it is truly worth it. Will it give a noticeably better shine to a daily driver ? Have to make a decision soon as my car is due for a detailing soon. your honest opinions are much appreciated. BTW my car is silver it that matters.

I used LG for years and was very happy with it. I heard about Zaino here, so I tried it and will never go back. The shine is deeper and wetter and the surface is slicker with Zaino. Zaino also lasts longer. It's more difficult to get started, but after the first application, Zaino is actually easier to use. I've used Zaino on a white '94 and pewter '01. Zaino actually exceeded my expectations which were pretty high to begin with.

I use LG and it doesn't leave any residue at all in chips or seams. I really like the stuff! However I will be trying Zaino just to see what all the hype is about.
