I just got my Black c6 monday and now that the weekend is here I have time to make that baby shine. I plan on waxing it with my 3m wax tonight, then waxing it again tomorrow. The paint on the car is flawless. If I put a coat of Mcguiars #7 glaze on between the 1st and 2nd coat of wax, will I see any benefits?
yes definitely glaze, then wax. 3M Imperial Hand Glaze will do great for you, with almost any wax on top of it. Think of the glaze as being a good filler to hide the surface scratches and defects -- once filled, you try to seal the glaze in place with a wax.
will look great, but the glaze/wax combination sure won't last longer than 2 weeks, even with very good products.
glazes are a nice way to amp up some of the more boring looking carnauba waxes. They add some filling to hide swirls and wetness to paint. Some professionals use them without a topping for show circuit because they are so darn wet. (no protection however, and wear off quickly in environment).
You will get about 4-5 weeks of great looks from a glaze/wax combo. Just use a soap safe for carnauba protection, and consider a spray qd'er or spray booster as needed. If you like the look of a wax/glaze combo I highly suggest finding some Clearkote Red Moose Glaze. Great product and additional look is clearly noticable. Megs 7 and Megs New Car Glaze are nice offerings also.
Yes, glaze first. If you are using a glaze I think I would go with the 3m glaze or even the #5 Meguiars glaze before #7. The #7 glaze is a real pain to work with if I remember correctly and gums up and is a real pain to remove.
You really should look into using a good polymer sealant and be done with it as glazes and carnuaba products have no durability and are older technology IMHO.

The body shop manager that replaced my painted top recommended me to use Meguire's #7 glaze before using top. He told me Glaze is like putting moisture into the paint to bringing out the color better.
My question is if I use the Meguire's #7 can it be incorporated into the Zaino products order of things?
I had initially planned to just use the AIO after a few weeks of getting a new painted top stored in my room for awhile then AIO it then CS it before putting painted top back on.
