how do you get rid of the little "chicklets" and tiny bits of crap and fuz on black carpet? i have a jet black interior that attacts all sorts of little white /off white crumbs grit and gravel. vacuuming works but i spend hours with the shop vac and the small tip getting around and beside the seats and along the seat track as well as any nook and cranny.
also i noticed a lot of gravel builds up on the rails or main supports from the front bumper where the radiator bolts. seems like every time i go to clean the car there is a tiny little pile of road gravel waiting for me. i think it's Ford gnomes.
as for the debris on your frame rails consider installing a piece of weatherstrip along the leading edge of the hood. there are some you can buy which are pre-cut and relatively inexpensive, it should prevent stuff from getting in.
If you get some duct tape and wrap it around your hand and dab it around on the carpet you can easily pick up all sorts of fuzz, debris, etc. I also always put a black rubber mat on my drivers side, much easier to dump off tiny rocks and pebbles and such off of rather than a carpeted floor mat.
