Will this suffice?
My '07 has been a bird dump target the last couple of weeks. The remnants have left a residue in a couple of spots unable to be removed post water and vinegar soak.
I have read several posts lauding the effectiveness of the 3M fine-cut rubbing compound P/N 39002 (grade 1200) and set out earlier to find it. Unfortunately on my first pass I could not find this specific formula, but I did find 3M's rubbing compound P/N 03900 (grade 1500).
From their respective descriptions, they seem identical other than the starting grade of scratch (1200 vs. 1500).
Am I wasting my time with this version of the 3M rubbing compound or should it suffice for what I am attempting to accomplish?
