Default Tiny water marks

Only in certain light/angles, I can see small areas of what

looks like small (pin head sized approx) water marks. Will drying the

car quicker take care of these normally and to get rid of the

ones that are already there, will Zaino AIO take care of them?

07 LMB with 1500 miles. The car looks good BUT upon closer

inspection......

No one can say what exactly will take care of the ones on your car, but I can tell you what took care of a few on cars I've done.

Some lighter water etching I've removed with Zaino Fusion and an aggressive pad with the PC and some very harsh water etching will need a rotary and possibly even wet sanding. All just depends how bad it is.

If it's as minimal as you say, I would try some Fusion with an orange pad on a PC first and if that doesn't work, keep getting more aggressive till they're gone.

I have a 06 LMB with 3000 miles. I have the same problem. Keep up the post if you find the cure.

  1. yes, try Zaino PC fusion with orange Lake Country pad, by PC7424 and the majority of these should come out. May take one to three passes.
  2. to prevent: keep rinsing the car continually as you wash, never allowing any panel to dry. The blow dry with a leaf blower (quickest way to take the majority of the water off the paint). Then a quick pass with a microfiber towel and your favorite quick detailer will remove any tiny spots that have started to form. And keep LOTS of wax or sealant on the car - this makes it bead the water, making water removal by leaf blower VERY easy. A car without sealant on it is impossible to dry without spotting. Finally of course you can try to wash early in morning or late near sunset.
  3. once the water marks are there, there are several approaches to removing them, but the best one is what I and Joshvette have mentioned above.
