My wife recently had her 1993 Camry (Emerald Green Metallic) repainted and it came out great!
Yesterday, she was passing a line of cars that was stopped and got a little too close She scuffed an area above the passenger side rear wheel. The scuffed area, which is about the size of a basketball, looks a little hazed. The good news is that there does not appear to be any serious damamge to the clear coat
Can someone instruct me on what to do to fix this problem area? Scratch X perhaps? I don't have a PC, so hopefully, it can be done by hand.
Now you know why she is not permitted to drive the vette
If you already have the Scratch X then I would try that first. Just work about half the area at a time. Be sure to work it long enough to break it down and it should come out great. You might have to make multiple passes. Be sure to reapply some wax of your choice afterwards.
