Just read a day or two's worth of threads on this forum and I'm sure the answer will become obvious without starting a war....

It's really not about which products are best, but about using proper techniques and prep work.

I like Zaino after properly claying and polishing out all defects as Zaino seems to have the longest durability of all sealants and waxes that I've come accross.

congrats on your coupe

if you listen to everyone for a week you'll have a pretty good idea what works and what people use, in some categories there are 2 or 3 products, really can't go wrong which of those you use.

Mine will not see anything except Zaino on the outside, except for glass cleaning it is Stoners. See, I'm not just blindly using one company's product, I keep an open mind for which work best.

I love Menzerna products for polishing out swirls and defects, 303 for interiors and Zaino for sealing, BlueMagic Metal Polish for blackened exhaust......I could go on and on.

Good advice here. I use and like Zaino. I have not used ZAIO, but have heard great things about it.
One of the keys is proper washing/drying techniques.
Quality mitt, I use sheepskin/Z7.
Final rinse = removing the nozzle from your hose and let the sheeting action of the water remove an amazing amount of water.
Leaf blower for 95% of the remaining water. A very light Z6 with a quality towel = spot free shine.
Z may sound like a lot of work, but it's not. The products last a long time and the shine =
When applying Z sealants, apply THINLY.

Exactly! The person applying the product, regardless of which product it is, determines to a large extent the quality of the job. I've seen people use fairly common place waxes/polishes and achieve better results than some do with the most exotic and most expensive products.

Read a few days worth of posts and you'll get tons of great advice on the process and procedures you should use.

It looks like most have answered the same as I will. That is just watch this forum and you will hear about all the specialty products as well as those that are available at the local auto parts stores.

There are many great products out there. It really comes down to a few issues. Do you plan to detail your 07 every month or so, or more like twice a year? If it is the latter, then you want to find a long lasting product. Do you want to spend all day when you detail, or are you looking for products that can be applied and removed easily? Will you be doing the work by hand, or using a buffer? Answer these questions and then look for the products that will meet the intended use.

I use nothing but Adams products. They are extremely easy to use and the results are excellent. Again my opinion and there are others that will swear by the products they use.

i'm 68 years old and have tried aLOT of 'waxes' . the one that lasts the longest for me by far is zaino and unfortunately it took a long time before i'd pay the price of it . it is not difficult inspite of what some folks say . it is [in application] like any other PROPERLY done 'wax' job .

Another vote for Zaino. It's gonna sound a little overwhelming at first, but it really is easy to use.

Interiors:
All kinds of dust, fumes, smoke and dirt builds up inside of a cars interior, much of it is brought in by the driver and passengers, but traffic fumes and air-borne dirt enters via the vehicles ventilation system.

Every single interior surface is affected. Periodically it needs to be thoroughly cleaned to remove pollutants and preserve the original surfaces, ensuring the vehicles like-new condition. The surfaces involved in this cleaning are; glass, vinyl, leather, plastics, fabric, carpets and various acrylic surfaces.

To remove stains the surface tension that bonds them must be released, then the stain encapsulated and held in suspension to be removed. I’m repeatedly asked which product is the best interior cleaner. There is no one-product answer; as the so-called all purpose cleaners (APC) do not remove every stain, different stains require different solvents to remove them.

When cleaning a stain, try detergent and water first. If this does not remove the stain, then try a stronger type cleaner) once fabric is clean apply a fabric protection (303TM High Tech Fabric Guard) Between these cleaners you should be able to remove 99% of stains occurring in a vehicle and around the home; Start with a 10:1 solution and decrease dilution as necessary;

Carpets- 303™ Rug / Upholstery Cleaner & Spot Remover or Folex Instant Carpet Spot Remover
P21S Total Auto Wash (its active ingredient is d-limonene (citrus) a safe all purpose cleaner (APC)
Woolite® Heavy Traffic Carpet Foam or Hoover Deep Cleansing Carpet/Upholstery Detergent

(A carpet extractor system injects a cleaner into the pile of the fabric and then removes dirt along with the water)

Fabric seats - 303™ Rug / Upholstery Cleaner & Spot Remover or 303™ Aerospace Cleaner

PVC / Vinyl – a solution of Woolite and distilled water or a citrus-based cleaner and water to remove stains use 1Z Cockpit Premium as a matte finish dressing.

Plastic - Plexus, BTI™ Chemicals Plastic Polish & Cleaner

Leather – a solution of Woolite and distilled water and Leather Master Protection, as a shield against stains etc

Washable surfaces - Distilled water / Woolite 10:1 or 303 Cleaner & Spot Remover ™

Glass surfaces - Stoner's Invisible Glass and a (Norwex) glass cleaning cloth with a super tight knit.

Wood surfaces – Klasse or Zaino All-In-One (AIO)

Ultra violet (UV) protection - for all interior surfaces- 303™ Aerospace Protectant or
Optimum Protectant Plus
