Default Cleaning inside windshield

Would any of you want to share your technique for cleaning the inside of the windshield. It's hard for me to get all the way to the bottom with my hand holding a microfiber cloth and I found it not too easy to try to clean the panel covering the HUD either. I thought I would see if there were any creative ideas out there.

I use a V-shaped pad on a handle that tilts. Got it at Bed,Bath, and Beyond for $10. Some auto parts places get $20. The V allows you to get all the way down the glass. As for the HUD, I dunno.

My wife got me a window cleaning kit from Griot's Garage that has a thin triangular shaped piece probably 3" a side that kind of rotates on a handle to reach into the corners. It has removeable pads that actually touch the glass. Not a perfect solution, but at least you can get at those areas.

I found a ruler, a small cloth and rubber bands to hold it on works great. I also use Rejex on the inside and the window just wipes clean after that without using anymore after the first application.

K9 - can you take a picture and post it one here please? I tried picking one up locally, but couldn't find one and the floor help just looked at me cluelessly -- they didn't seem to understand what I was looking for.

thanks!

I use one of the triangular things recommended in other posts, but here's a tip on cleaning the HUD.

Do it first! I don't have a problem getting my hand and a good micro fiber cloth down there, but my knuckles always smudge the windshield. Simple lesson... Clean the HUD first, and then the windshield. But don't spray cleaner directly on the glass over the HUD. You're back to square one wiping out the HUD.
