NXT 2.0 is not sold in Canada yet, but I had a friend in Atlanta buy that Meguiar's kit for me and ship it up here. I put a coat of the new NXT on my Vette this morning, and I just love this stuff! It is super easy to remove and the finish is super slick now. It also looks like it hides even more imperfections than the previous version of NXT (and hides more than the original #21 too)
I started using the UQD last fall and was super impressed with how water just flies off the paint when you're driving in the rain. I noticed a lot less water spots and the car didn't look as dirty after driving in the rain too. So the fact that NXT 2.0 has this same hydrophobic technology in it makes me very happy. I also noticed that dust didn't stick to the paint as much too. Since my C5 is black, and a daily driver, that's a major bonus for me!
The durability issue isn't that important to me in the summer, as I like to apply a fresh coat about every month. If it turns out that NXT 2.0 isn't as durable as #21, I'll just switch back to #21 for the winter months (when I don't have too many warm enough days to wax my car), and use NXT 2.0 in the warm months.
With all the rave around the new UQD where does that leave NXT Detailer ????
For the longest time I was using NXT Detailer. I then started using Meguiar's Last Touch Detail Spray. I really liked that. When UQD came out I got a free bottle and fell in love. It's my favorite. After I wipe down the car, it looks great. Come back a few hours later and it looks amazing.
Just used it last night for the first time, it does leave the residue but it comes off easy if you go over the jams etc. after applying all over. I noticed it didn't come off as easy as NXT 1.0 but it might have been because I didn't have as much time to let it dry. Also, I might have used a tad too much. The shine is great, maybe a little better than 1.0. I've been able to get almost a month with 1.0 so hoping for at least 6 weeks with this.

That's probably it, as I put on a thin coat of NXT 2.0 on Sunday and I found it buffs off easier than the original NXT and the original #21. I applied it in my garage which was about 55 degrees and I only let it dry for about 20 minutes before buffing it off.
The first time you drive in heavy rain with this stuff, watch the way the water just flies off the hood! It's very cool!!

Will do next time, love the shine of this stuff hopefully it holds up a bit longer. I've seen the beads come off after using UQD, can't wait for the first time with this (will I can since it will be getting dirty). It does seem like it hides fine scratches in the clear coat better than 1.0. Guess the remaining 1.0 I have is being demoted to the wife's car.
I have not used this NXT product. New in this type of car care, usually I only use the Eagle One Quick detail product (the wax and dry product). Trying to decide, which is better and easier to use, NXT or Zaino 2 pro?

are you saying that as the uqd cures it will change in appearance/gloss?

I've found the same on my car too, when you first spray on UQD it looks great, but come back a few hours later and it looks even better. At least it's noticeable on black, it might not be as noticeable on the lighter colors.
