Rejex vrs. waxes
Who uses Rejex? How is it to work with as opposed to Meguiars, Zaino, et al? Higher shine than wax and lasts longer... true?
From online info, Rejex needs to cure out of direct sun and in temp less than 85° for 12 hours before taking the car out in the "elements." Since I'm in sunny California and without a covered car area, this is concerning me. Any tips?

I use Rejex and like it a lot. I've noticed it really works great with dark colors like my black C6. The paint really pops with it.
Only other stuff I've used is Zaino AIO which to me is a little easier to apply than Rejex. The key is to apply them both sparingly so that it isn't a chore to buff out after it dries.
You're right though about curing time needed for Rejex. I leave my car in the garage for 12 hours after applying it. You might be better off with Zaino. Also check out Meguiars NXT 2.0. I saw it at Walmart recently.

I have some Meguiars Gold Class Clear Coat liquid wax, Meguiars Quick Spray wax and Meguiars Gold Class leather cleaner/conditioner that I bought at a Target store 4 years ago.
Although I like the results and quality of the product, I didn't care for the white powdery dust that resulted when buffing it off. I would imagine Meguiars NXT 2.0. is more advanced and that issue's been resolved?

The regular NXT got rid of the white powder. The new stuff is supposed to have double the durability. I plan on getting some when it becomes warm enough to wash the car again.

I think of have OCD because I have been trying every different wax on the market. In the last six months I have tried:
Meguiar's Gold Class
Mothers California Gold Spray Wax
Rejex
Adams Buttery Wax
Pinnacle Souveran Liquid Spray Wax
XMT Carnauba Finishing Glaze
Meguiar’s NXT Wax
Adams Machine Superwax
Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant
DuPont Teflon Ultra Premium Spray Wax
I think my two favorites are the DuPont Teflon and the Adams Machine Superwax.

After researching this subject on the forum, I bought the whole zaino kit online. I have a new 08 coupe AW, and it is incrediable stuff. I have used every wax in the world. This is the best stuff I have ever used.

Rejex for me. I learned the hard way to use just a little as you go along which makes it a lot easier to remove. IMO two thinner coats work better than one heavy coat anyway.
I usually start mid-afternoon and by supper the job is finished and the car is ready to go in the morning.
I also use it on the glass (as many do) and it tends to act like Rain-X.

I too bought the full Zaino kit and used it. I had lots of trouble getting it to look right with blochiness all over. I was told that I used too much but truthfully, I don't know how I could have used less. It looked great for sure though.

I kept it simple with Rejex.
