Qd
When out driving and you get bird droppings. What do you use to get it off?
I read to use any quick detailer when removing
bird droppings on a vert!

I use Adam's Detail Spray and it works awesome. I'm sure any of the quality QD sprays will be fine.

You have to be careful as bird droppings can be very abrasive. Removal asap is advised.

I always carry Zaino Z6 and a microfiber just in case of an unwanted seagull dropping

Mothers Showtime is easy to locate locally and works well for minor cleaning. Poorboys Spray/Wipe is one we sell alot of thru mail order.

Don't know if I would be using a QD on a cloth top...
Damp to wet towel or rag to wipe it away....Try to do it as soon as you can..

Sorry I have no idea about that. I must have misunderstood your original question. Like someone already said a wet cloth should be just fine.

NP. I plan a week-end road trip in a few months and I was wondering, what I might need in case of bird droppings.

I would not think a QD is appropriate for a vert top.
If you haven't already done so, I'd recommend the raggtopp kit.
The protectant should help with the clean up after the fact.

I haven't used the QD on the top. I did apply RaggTop.
Just wondering what is the best liquid solution to apply to top should bird droppings happen.

You can use car soap or a quick detailer with damp towel on a cloth roof. I would stay away from those offering xtra gloss or slickness. The two I offered are like light soaps and will not create any issues, especially when used on a roof protected with Raggtop or 303 Protectant.
