Default Meguiars Microfibers?

How are meguiars microfibers?

I'm getting a few real cheap and was curious as to the quality of these towels in terms of scratching the vettes clear.

I liked them at first, but after a few uses (very few) they started to lose their softness in my opinion. I like the blue ones from Cobra the best.

That depends on which one you are asking about. The small white Ultimate Wipes seem to loose their "plushness" rather quickly, so I use them for cleaning only. The larger gold towels hold up very well, and I like their waffle-weave drying towels. I also have some very plush towels from Cobra that I use strictly for the "last touch" buffing.

I'm talking about their gold towels...I can buy 3-packs from a buddy of mine who is a distributor for ~4 bucks.

Nope...cheap

I'd rather spend more and get something that wont scratch if that was the case though.

I've got small little micro-scratches throughout the clear in certain lighting and I fear its from poor microfibers in the past, so I'm trying to avoid adding more.

i just hit up the car with NXT spray wax with their gold towel... i went over it with their NXT detailer to "enhance" the gloss as stated on the bottle and it enhanced the swirl marks. Grrrr...

Buying towels cheap and buying cheap towels is different, lol.

I feel there are much better offerings out there than their Supreme Shines and Water Magnet.

However, I love their Ultimate Wipe, I feel it is one of best out there for polish removal.
