I stumbled on a product by the Detail Dude called the Bullet Proof sealant. So, like everything else, I tried it. I used it on my wife's Tahoe because it gets a lot more use than the vette to see if it would hold up. Now six months later and its still there. This stuff rocks.. You apply it by hand, leave it 20 to 30 minutes and it wipes right off. No fuss, no hassle, no smearing, no mixing. So, if you want the durability, shine, and slickness of the Zaino without the headache, seriously give this stuff a shot.. Its some badass stuff..
What was your weekly wash routine as well? How did you maintain it all? Do you use a QD when washing?
I'm testing this product as well, but am still waiting to see how long it will hold up. I'm having to redue it as it was interfered with by a dealership wipe down a week after I applied it, I don't know if they used a prep product to wipe the side of my truck but all I know is it didn't even bead a week later...

Ok, first off, I'm not bashing any products.. This is a discussion forum.. Zaino is a great product, I not saying it is a bad product.. I just didn't work for me.. I'm just offering my thoughts on a product I thought was damn good and easy to use. Many people on this forum will swear how easy to use Zaino is and its the greatest product ever. That is good for them that they found a product they like to use. Others that maybe liked it, and just had problems using it might like to know of an alternative. As far as measure durability, the water on the truck still beads 6 months later. I wash the car by hand about every 2 weeks and I wipe it down with a quick detailer after washing when I have time. The paint still feels smoothe and slick. I'm not a scientist but from a subjective standpoint, its better than anything else I've used except for maybe zaino.. Thus the comparison..

Your right this is a discussion forum. fDidnt read that you were bashing anyone. You have found a product you like and your discussing the subject with your fellow Forum members.
No one should be bashed for using a product that provides the results that they are looking for.
Hey guys! Thanks for talking about my products! Feel free to visit my website and take a look around. I have just completed 2 more editions to my wax line up that are both amazing products. Those should be up early next week!
If you are interested in some samples, let me know!
I am intrested in your Intensive Wax and have a couple questions.
In your description you say that no product will outlast a carnauba for durability, and I would like you to explain that if you will. Are you saying that carnauba wax outlasts synthetic crosslinking polymers, resins, and acrlyics?
Your web page is nice. What is the story on the bullet proof paint sealant? It says it protects alumium. Would that work well on unpolished wheels?

Thanks for your interest! I should better clarify my findings on that. Man made products will most always outlast natural based products. (acrylics and resigns of such) We have found that using a high quality polymer blend, helps the carnauba form a molecular bond to the surface and assist in stabilizing the product, thus improving the durability, protection, and longevity. That being said, the All in # 1 Intense wax is not all natural. It does contain approx. 20% of an acrylic sealant. (based per 55 gallon mixtures)

Thank you for the compliment! The Bulletproof paint sealant was formulated to meet the needs of people that want an excellent amount of protection and don't want to do it every other month. When applied correctly (by hand ONLY) it forms a protective barrier on the surface, giving you a nice gloss and a slick finish.
It is safe to use on chrome, aluminum, alloy metals, fiberglass, etc. On unpolished wheels I would recommend using a good metal polish and a wax. The way my sealant was designed, you might experience some slight hazing on an unpolished wheel.
Hey Frank - and Detail Dude
thanks for the post. I have been away from the forum for the past 3 months, and was unaware of this product line. This is why I tune in - to hear about new stuff.
Thanks for being so enthusiastic about my products, Frank! I appreciate your business and I am glad they are working for you!
I think everyone has different findings in every product they use. Some people may think brand A is the best, others think brand X is the best. Of course, I am bias when it come to the car care product scene, but I think everyone needs a fresh approach once in a while!

The Detail Dude, I am always curious when a new line comes to market. I have a couple questions, if you don't mind. Being that I never heard of your product line and am not sure of its background, maybe you can share something about you to us.
How long have you been producing products?
What is your background and experience in detailing?
Are your products formulated by you or by a custom formulator?
Are your products manufactered in house?
Thanks and I look forward to getting my hands on some of your product soon!

No problem!
#1) I started producing my products 9 months after we started the formulation process. I did this for the sole purpose of meeting my needs on my vehicles. After every product was tested by myself and random people, we started the bottling phase...then we hired a graphics guy to produce a cool looking attention getting label....now we are advertising it!
#2) My background consists of many things. When I got into the scene of detailing my own car, using some competitors products that have been proven, it was a good feeling of accomplishment! During that time I worked at a dealership (in parts) doing accessories and working to educate customers on the importance car care. I actually got paid to do that! Shortly after that I went into business for myself and started a mobile detailing company. That was about 2 years ago. About 1 year into it I turned that side over to my brother in law, and the rest just took off from there. To answer your question, I have about 11 years experience...depending how you look at it.
#3 and #4) As the very best raw chemicals are very expensive and would cost hundreds of thousands to bring in, I have found very few companies formulate in house. I work with a local based chemist who has access to most of what I need to make this happen for me! The way we work things is through weekly meetings (in person at the factory) and I tell him what I want the product to do. He makes it happen! I am all hands on except for in the chemical room where liability becomes an issue. Knowing what these chemicals are capable of and what they can do if handled carelessly, I am ok with that. As we manufactured everything to get to this point, we have gone through a lot of waste. Each formulation has been done in 55 gallon increments. (Everything is disposed of properly as we meet OSHA regulations) This ensures an accurate formulation every time...including the products that have acrylic properties.
I hope this helps and I didn't leave any holes anywhere. If anyone has any questions, please ask!
