Try using a tooth pick or get a small paint brush with a square tip. Sometimes it takes several coats rather than one "blob" . Sometimes you have to go back and add a coat or two after your first application drys. Take your time is will be worth it. If you want to smooth out the "blobs" get a Langka paint chip kit.
you can get very very tiny paint brushes at your local ACE hardware store - they should have tiny ones that artists use.
do not attempt to fill the chips in one sitting.
put ten thin layers on - letting them all dry in between (ok, maybe not TEN, but you get my point).
when the chip is almost full, make the last two layers with clear coat.
allow clearcoat 2 days to dry. Then wet sand the blob down to level. then buff with PC to perfect shine - the result should be undetectable.
very time consuming, but worth it in the end. Langka, though it makes the "leveling" process easy, will leave you with a dull, lifeless repair area. I have much better results with standard wet sanding as above.
