some one suggested using Bon Ami on windshield to get rid of mile sand pitting. Looked at a can at store and it says in big letters not to use on glass or mirrors. Does any one have any experience with this product?
It is a polishing agent. As usual thanks in advance for any info. Members here have all the right answers.
SAVE THE WAVE
I've never used Bon Ami but have heard it will work. There's also several glass polished for the purpose...both hand polish and machine polishes. I've used Griot's products and they are good but won't handle heavier pitting.
Eastwood's carries much stronger glass refinishing kits, but you should only use them as a last resort. They actually remove or destroy a layer of glass to save the glass, if you follow.
For very mild cleaning, I've used cream polish made for glass top ranges...stuff works real well. You can but it at most any grocery store.
