Front rim problems?? help??
i recently had a break piston lock up on me and a bunch of break dust covered the rim and melted to the rims. I am having the worst time trying to get the burnt break dust off. its a 1993 vert with stock rims any advice would be great i miss my shiny rims.

Since they're factory wheels, I will assume they're clearcoated...
I had this problem on my Z06. Not even clay would touch it.
Poorboy's Spray & Rinse with a brush, then Duragloss 501 RV/Marine Polish with some elbow grease took care of every last spec of brake dust!

clearcoat i think and yeah its about 2 to 3 16th inch worth of build up in some of the grooves. thanks for the help anymore ideas would be great im gonna try to get it done this weekend. iv decided to start making my car look like a show room finish car gonna take some time i know but im tired of mine looking avg.

yeah its bad i will try to take some pics i just wanna polish them and get all the burned break dust off i need some good degreaser
