Progress Day 1.....
This the progress so far on JohnCBourg's 03 Mil Yell Z06....done by Evil_C5 and myself.
these photos are untouched by any photoshop software....straight off the camera.
the 1st 2 are the before and as John said, it looks like 2 cats were screwing on the hood, and I must agree.

day 1 steps included a wash, clay bar, a pass with a yellow edge wool pad and Menzerna SIP at 1800 rpm's. then followed with a pass of SIP with the blue wool Edge pad. finished off with a pass using the PC and Orange Foam Edge pad to remove any trails left behind.

tomorrow, we will hit it with the Wolfgang total swirl remover 3.0 made by Menzerna and then finish it off with some wolfgang fuzion.
bear in mind, John didnt want 100 percent paint correction for cost reasons, so this is a mid level detail/minor defect removal.

"Mid level" my ***........
You guys have done an
excellent job on that paint surface IMO.....
Mid-level and several steps with wool pads don't add up in my computer....
A lot of guys think an orange pad is heavy duty.
When you guys finish it off with a few more steps, post up a couple of afters for us......

Holy smokes!!!
I'm tempted to buy you a ticket to Alaska if you can help me get my Z to shine like that! Or rather, shine WITHOUT all the scratches!
