Default Black C5

I've never been really happy with the finish, always seems to have the smoke color not the deep black wet look.
So I'm thinking something different, here's the suggestion. Optimum with the orange then Optimum polish with a white. Finish with Wolfgang prewax then Wolfgang polish.
Just curious if here is any feedback on this formula.
I'm orbital only...rotary is to frightning for me.

In that case, for a black C5 I would use an orange LC pad with Menzerna SIP followed with a white LC pad and Menzerna 106FF.

Those two are a great combo for the clear coat on your car.....

After those steps, choose a wax or a sealant for protecting your efforts......

Garage queens don't need the upkeep daily drivers do but, black is not really a color........it's a career.......

Good luck....

My dd is a black Acura TL and we've had it since 98.....

It got kicked out of the garage when we bought a new 4-Runner to go along with the C5.......

It was easy to keep nice sitting in the garage every night but, now that's it's left out to the elements, it's a bear........

A foam gun for washes and QD's are your best friends along with microfiber towels and sheepskin mitts to fight off "ugly" black daily's....

I use sealants instead of wax because of the heat during Texas summers. They offer a little more durability and every little bit helps in the "black quest" to remain looking clean.......

Good luck.....

If you want seriously deep wet black paint, then consider Four Star UPP (sealant) or Wolfgang 3.0 and then top with Souveran Wax (paste). I have not found a deeper and wetter look yet. Its a show stopper and so easy to use.
