A buddy of mine went to the desert with the military and left his black car at my place. It has had a cover on it. It's been outside for about a month and a half.....through rain / heat / rain again.....
Took the cover off to move it into the garage.....I finally cleared space. Washed it and it now has a sort of cloudy haze on it.
I am only used to using products like NXT and Souveran. They are no help. Unfortunately, I don't have a buffer or any experience with that.
Any tips as to what I can do to get this car back to black!?!?!?
try a paint cleanser first like Pinnacles Paintwork lotion, if it does not remove you need to move to a polish to abrade the surface. As noted it is likely moisture caught between cover and paint.

First thing I tried was my Pinnacle Paintwork Lotion! (bought from you!! ) Sadly, it didn't do the job.
Any recommendations on an "over the counter product", as time is of the essence?
look for a paint polish , doing so by hand will be slow and tiring at best. The only polishes I would use over the counter would be Meguiars in the brown bottles (professional line). #83 DACP was an old favorite, but really needs a buffer to break down.
