Default Will this work??

I found a polisher in my shop the other and was wondering if it is possible to use this instead of buying a PC I know I will still have to buy all the pads and polishes and if someone could give me some recomendations that would work with this particular polisher would be awsome, thanks.

My recommendation is to forget that thing and get the special offered for the Porter Cable PC Autogeek has on special.. (might be off now) You'll be way ahead of the game with a new unit modern PC. You want to have something that uses a loop back system that easy to change pads with. For the small cost of a new unit you'll be money ahead with a PC with variable speed, etc! Frankly that unit looks like it's seen better days........ Just my take on it...

BTW.. you can make almost polisher work to some degree....

I agree. I'm in the process of using the PC and it's GREAT! Only problem I'm having is that I need to get better at it. The deeper scratches are a challenge.

be very careful, as I dont see any speed settings and thats a wool cutting pad on the buffer. A PC, G110, Cyclo, or Flex might be a better choice but additional expense needed initially.

OPM seems to suggest 2500 on your findings.

PC is around 6000
G110 is 6600 as memory serves
Flex is around 9000
