Can I use Mother's pre-wax cleaner instead of washing with dawn to remove old polish before I claybar? I will be using mothers sealer/glaze as next step after claying then will be using Reflections polish with Mother's Top Coat to finish it off

I would still prewash - this will remove surface contaminants and dirt. This can get caught up in the cleaner wax and end up causing marring and light scratching as you polish. I think any wash - car wash, Dawn, etc.... will do the trick and be a good prep for the cleaner wax.
no need for Dawn at all in car care, especially when using a paint polish or paint cleanser (prewax product). Use clay first to pull contaminents up and away prior to rubbing them into paint with cleanser.
