Default Wheel care help needed....

I would like to get some more shine out of my factory clear coated 01 wheels. Waxing them just isn't doing it. Can I safely polish them? What are your secrets? Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.....

I've had good luck using the same products on my wheels that I use on my finish.
SIP, ZPC, and Z sealants.
I used my PC where I could.
The pic is not good, but the wheels look great.

Can't polish them, if they have a clear coat. Not sure about the 01. I know the C6 has the clear coat. Most factory wheels do.

A good cleaner polish like Klasse AIO or Duragloss 101 will do the trick. For additional protection, I like to top with Duragloss 105.

Once you get them cleaned up you might want to give Rejex a try on the wheels. Keeps them looking good and makes brake dust removal real easy.

you can indeed polish OEM clearcoated wheels, just with the correct polishes. In this case a paint polish (clearcoat is paint) is ok to use. I would however warn that some of the milky appearance is by nature the clearcoat GM uses.

I use hand for sealing the wheels. I do rather like the Powerball Mini for light polishing on uncoated wheels but really comes down to the power of the drill being used.

Thanks for your help. I am pretty much satisfied with how my car looks except for the wheels. I'll give your suggestions a try.
