Thanks for the info. I had wiper scatches occur from both wipers within six months after purchasing my '05 Vette. An 18" sweeping scratch (first the passager side and couple of months later the drivers side) deep enough to feel with your finger nail. I replaced both OEM wipers. I hand polished for hours to try to remove the sctraches. I managed to smooth the scratches so that they were only visible through close inspection. I have been planning to do it right for the pass 3 years. This sounds like it may be my next project.
