Beads like crazy when sprayed or rained on, but sheets well when hit with a gentle flow of water (like a host without a spray nozzle).

FarmerBob do you dry your car after washing? If so you don't have to worry about water spots, as far as raining on your car. I drive mine daily and down here in Louisiana we get rain almost weekly. :cry I have never had any water spots problems because of raining while I am at work and it drying before I get home.
Even the products that claim they sheet the water off don't sheet it all off. There is some water left on the car even though alot sheets off.

Cool. I was planning on getting Z-6. At any rate, (according to most on this forum) Zaino is far better than ordinary wax. Now I just need to hurry up and get it, so I can start using it while the car is still new..

I live in Seattle where 9 months out of the year, it rains almost daily.. Having water evaporate off the paint is a regular occurence here. I was hoping Zaino would sheet instead of bead so that wouldn't be as much of a problem.
Products like Blackfire or Klasse which tend to sheet off water when sprayed with a hose do not sheet off water when it rains. Even unwaxed cars (unless they have heavy oxidation) bead when it rains. So if you are worried about how your car will look after it rains, I think Zaino passes with flying colors. The fact that Zaino beads water like a demon when sprayed with water has little to do with how it looks after a rain.
