just washed wifes daily driver and left a lot of ice on drive as it's 22 degrees . it's supposed to be nice [dry] out for a few days and car was really salty . soon as i finished the wife was in it and gone ''shopping''.by the way i really need a new wash mitt any thoughts ?
Check Autogeek for a wash mitt. Very nice of you to keep that Vette looking good in 22 degree weather, so the Wife can also look good while she goes shopping!
This is a good topic. I've been following the forum's recommendation to use a sheepskin mitt. But my sheepskin mit seems to sometimes have tiny black dots that could be grit embedded in the thick sheepskin fur. I rinse it off, afterwards, but I'm always worried that something's "hiding" in the deepness of the nap. Plus, it's not as soft as it was when new.
Is there something better than sheepskin mitts? Microfiber is a cloth, which also worries me (obviously needs to be of good quality....).
And by "hairy looking microfiber" do you mean hairy as in Rastafarian hairy...Jason Castro hairy? Like the ones with microfiber "worms" on them?
