You probably need to follow up with a less aggresive polish and pad.
Usually a final polish on the white/grey pad. But also its black, so you have to either have a garage queen and a perfect car or learn to live with the visible defects. Unless you have like 8 hours every weekend that you can donate to detailing the car..
wolfgang swril remover 3.0.ccs orange light cutting foam pad 2-wolfgang finishing glaze white polishing foam pad 3-wolfgang deep gloss paint sealer white polishing foam pad waited 12 hrs to cure 4-pinnacle souveran paste wax looked great ,she is a garrage queen .was not driven. moisture in air had been very bad lately. maybe wipeing dust off daily with micro cloth? would wax scratch that easy.

That could have done it. From what I understand, waxes are not as protective as some sealants. Waxes are for that wet look and last about 4 months. Not very durable...

I am by far an expert, but usually a setting of 5 or 6 it what you need to polish all the micro marring out. I am sure someone else will chime in and confirm or negate that though.
- swirl remover / orange pad / speed 5-6 (assuming orbital polisher) - until satisfied with defect removal
- swirl remover or final polish / white pad / speed 5-6 (assuming orbital polisher) to fully burnish paint
- glaze - optional
- seal by hand
- wax by hand

Do not dust a black car. Wash it.
I would also suggest polishing small areas and then overlapping a bit. I see some polish 1/2 the car at one time. Also as noted, use buffer on high speed especially when using a Flex, PC, or Random Orbital.
I agree on the buffer speed... on a PC, even "5" is not that effective. I used "5" for a long time, before bumping up to "6" and it made a world of difference. I would think a speed of "3" was doing next to nothing.
Also, with the PC, you have to work slow. If you were moving the buffer any more quickly than, say, 1 inch per second, you went too fast... and multiple overlapping passes are often required. Black does require the most work, and the most diligent attention to detail. For me to completely do my black Z with the PC... takes about 20 hours, but I spread it out over multiple sessions (like 10+).

other suggestions do a ipa wipe down as you polish to check your progress .Take your vette out in the sun between polishing steps if not happy more buffing is needed .I would highly recommend that you watch some video on the geeks website to get a better understanding of the processes ,good luck and don't give up

I agree here. Nothing sucks worse than spending time to buff out and then layer coats on a car just to find out the finish wasn't ready. If you have those halogen work lights you can get at home depot and Menzerna Top Inspection spray, or a 50/50 water/alcohol solution you can inspect the finish as you work to ensure you are getting the results you expect.
