Default Paint issue.

Looking for some help. I just purchased a new 08 Artic White vert. After several days I put the top down and found a stain about 1/4 wide and 6" long behind each seat where the edge of the anti glare flap rested. They will not polish out. I tried using a pc with Adams machine polish. I notified the dealer and they said that they would repaint stow lid for me. I really do not want to have a repainted part on a new (5 miles) car. Any advise will greatly be appreciated

if polishing will not work, likely wetsanding or professional repair is the only options. I doubt something like 3M Wax and Adhesive Remover would work.

Can you post some pics?

Can you feel it or should I say is it into the clear?

It is in theclearcoat. It feels smooth to the touch. I'll try and figure out how to post some pictures.
