You do have to watch what you use on black chrome. I wash mine with car soap, then polish (Zaino) and seal. I've only had mine on for about 8 months, and I have not notice any changes in brillance.

I would use the only truly safe wheel cleaner that I have found. It works equally well on uncoated wheels which can degrade immediately with the wrong wheel cleaner.

The wheel will stay looking great if it's care for properly, which is a two step process. I would recommend cleaning it with a pH netural wheel cleaner like the P21S Wheel Gel or the Chemical Guys Wheel and Rim Citrus Cleaner. These products help safely clean the wheels so they are not stained or faded. Additionally I recommend washing with care so rinse your mitt/sponge very frequently and try not to scrub them with lots of pressure because you may add ultra fine scratches to the surface (which is true of virtually all wheels). Second I would apply a coating of protection on a semi-regular basis. The Poorboy's World Wheel Sealant is a great way to protect the wheels and prevent brake dust and road grime from bonding to the wheel. This makes future cleanings easier and safer.

Let me know if you have any additional questions or concerns about wheel care.

I've just started using the Poorboy's Wheel Sealant. The jury is still out as to the long term results, but I like the way it goes on and wipes off. It really seems to help the shine and it smells good.
