I have 25 coats of Z2 & Z5 on my Quicksilver & I'm not happy with the shine.
When I purchased the car I took it through the complete Zaino procedure & applied all of the products per Sal's instructions. Nonetheless, the car just doesn't shine. If I order ZFX, can I apply it over all of the Z2 & Z5 that's on my car now or do I need to mix it with Z2 or Z5?
ZFX is an additive to be mixed with Z-2, or Z-5. You do not use it alone. There is only 2ml of ZFX in the kit. You fill one of the bottles from the kit with Z-2 or 5 and add several drops of ZFX to the bottle, depending on how much 2 or 5 you put in. Hope this helps.
Are you using the Z-6 also?
I don't know if I have 25 coats yet or not--I stopped counting--but mine shines really well (for silver). I now have six coats of ZFX on top of probably ten coats of Z-2, with Z-6 in between. I was really impressed with the ZFX after I took the car out in the sun. I didn't really see any big difference in my garage. But, when I drove it and looked at I saw a great shine. :smash:
georgehafe, I used Z6 between all coats & also wash the car w/ Z7. The car is a garage queen & is normally washed every time its taken out. I know Zaino looks great on dark cars but on Quicksilver, it really lacks shine.. :mad :mad :mad
