Hey folks,
I have a brown stain on the grey carpet in the family car. It's about 1-2 inches and round.
I have tried cleaning it, but nothing seems to work. I do not know what it was from as this is a new/ used car to me. Is there a way I can mix and match some grey dye to make it match again, or is this a lost cause???
I use Folex Instant Carpet Spot Remover. I use it for cleaning spot stains and for whole carpets. It really works great and gets rid of almost any stain with very little work. What I do is spray the Folex directly on the stain, then take a carpet brush and scrub lightly, and then take a cotton towel to wipe up the area and the stain is gone.
I think it is beyond getting out, and more in need of being hidden. I will try and get a photo posted
Thanks for the help guys
There are plenty of carpet dyes out there that you can use, but IMO it looks tacky and never seems to match very well. It may be more cost effective to find an interior repair specialist in your area who is skilled in mixing and matching the color better.
