Default APC question

As Meg's APC & APC+ both dilute to clean engines, tires and interior...What is the difference in the two? AND are these really good enough for really dirty jobs as my DD needs the engine cleaned, so should a purchase of Meg's Super Degreaser be necessary?

Thanks,
Tom

I prefer APC+ as it is more versatile when it comes to interior cleaning. It also has fabric brightners, softners and a low ph which leaves the interior perfect so long as you mix it accordingly. When it comes to engine cleaning the APC+ works very well also, have some "Stoner" Tarminator around for any grease, oil or gunk build up. You should also have a large assortment of brushes for your engine cleaning.......It is always a great idea to liberally spray water on all the painted areas around the engine compartment (fenders, bumper) before applying the APC+. This way any degreaser will not spot, streak or stain the painted areas. After doing your engine cleaning be sure to thoroughly blow out all areas, and dress and protect rubber with the treatment of your choice.

I always thought it was more to do with scent, APC+ is more of a end user design and scent (orange) whereas the original APC was for more professional settings. APC+ is suppose to foam less too.

Meguiar's APC D103 is much more then you think, it provides mixtures for heavy cleaning of engines and tires, fast interior cleaning, as well as low foam ratio for use in carpet and upholstery extraction machines. Leaves carpet clean, smelling pleasant, and the fibers soft with no sticky residue. Safe for clear plastic, glass and leather. With the cleaning power and versatility of Meguiar's All Purpose Cleaner Plus you could almost replace all your cleaning products with one bottle of Meguiar's APC+.

Optimum Power Clean APC is the best I've used. APC+ is good, but it's not safe for paint. OPC can do everything APC+ can and it's safe on paint too. Howver, OPC is twice the price of APC+
