Zaino with a buffer?
Get yourself a PCXP. You can apply it with a finishing pad, however you will likely use more product than you need and it takes about the same amount of time as doing it by hand because Zaino goes on so easily. Not to mention there are spots a buffer can't reach so you'll have to do those parts by hand anyway.
Applying by machine really won't yield much better results than doing it by hand. HOWEVER... applying Z-AIO by machine will make the task go a little quicker.
I usually apply Z-AIO, Z2Pro and Z5Pro by machine, simply because I can do an entire vehicle in a much shorter duration than doing it by hand.
You may get a slight benefit using a machine to apply Zaino's Z-AIO, but the down side is it will cost more due to waste of polish. Time saving is questionable due to the clean-up time of the application pads.
As for other Zaino products (Z-2, Z-5, etc.) it is a waste of time and money. These products should only be applied by hand. The small amount of polish that is required needs to be applied by hand. Using a machine would make it very difficult to apply the correct amount of polish. Too much on the pads would be a waste and create problems when removing, and too little may create problems that could damage the finish.
The above comments are basically along the lines of Zaino's recommendations; Z-PC and Z-AIO - machine yes, Z-2, Z-5, etc. - machine no.
I have done several experiments and found AIO used with an LC orange pad at 4.5 on the final passes using a 7424 PC yields incredible results.
We work it down to a very, very light film, let it dry, wipe it off and the finish is outstanding.
Finish off with a couple of coats of Z-2 or Z-5, and Z-8 or Z-6, and it is a killer combo.
As far as wasting AIO with a buffer, I believe the last bottle did 29 cars. Considering what it does, I don't consider that bad at all. I would have to check my usage records to be sure.

ZPC would be a waste without a buffer. I love ZPC with either an orange or white pad with my flex.
I did apply Z2 once when I had a PC and saw no upside to it. Z2/Z5 go on and off so easily by hand.
