Default Windows Help!!

Ok,... so WHAT in the world can I use to get my windows clean??

I'm using Invisible Glass and I FOREVER have streaks and all kinds of mess.

I've tried micro fiber, news paper, 100 percent cotton... garage rags... What is the deal with this?

2008 Coupe...

Thanks!

I've been using Invisible Glass and microfiber towels for a very long time and rarely have any issues. One word of advice...do not try to clean windows in the direct sun or when it's very hot outside. You'll be wiping them forever!

I too find Invisible Glass, a Glass Master Tool, and Glass WW MF towels the way to go. I spray on liberally using the aerosol version, I then wipe the area with the towel folded into 4's, and then flip to dry area and rewipe. Indeed the tool comes in handy around the HUD area and close up to dash area too. As offered no heat or direct sunlight and best done monthly as the plastics emit a film on glass and becomes much harder to remove.

How are you washing your towels? are you drying them in the dryer with fabric sheets? If the towel becomes too dirty, it will begin to sometimes streak on you. It is then time to wash your towel with Micro-Restore. It will clean and revitalize cotton towels, natural and synthetic chamois too. Please always wash Microfiber products by themselves. The only restriction is to please never use any type of fabric softener or bleach product. One thing is the towel will treat the fabric softener as if it was dirt and will try to store the tiny particles of the softener in the towel fibers. This will clog up the micro fibers and render the towel ineffective and streak on you.

I use invisible glass and the micro towels and the invisible glass wedge cleaner thing for the inside.

EVERY time I back out into the sun from the garage I see the nasty streaks... Also the back window is ALWAYS streaked!

I don't use fabric softener on my towels... these are just the orange or green microfiber towels you get at target.

Should I be using a different towel??

Have you used these towels with a QD spray in the past......?

Having MF towels dedicated to just glass works well for me. I've got different colors to keep them apart. Also, wipe in different directions. Horiz/for exterior and vert/for interior. That way when you take it back outside you'll know exactly where the problem is.....

Good luck.......

The Waffle Weave Design will absorb more and will reduce streaking !
